New York Post Project

New York Post Project

This is a photography project I worked on in 2006 and 2007. Every day (or every other day) I went around New York City and Brooklyn and took the portraits of readers of The New York Post.

This was particularly challenging for me. Approaching strangers on a street and asking if I could take their picture wasn't something I thought I'd be very good at. It turns out, New Yorkers are a lot nicer than some may think. In the months I spent working on this, only two people said no and everyone was kind.

This project has been featured on a number of different online magazines as well as some local news sites.
